Which campus are you looking at? There are 3: the main (and largest) campus is located in New Brunswick/Piscataway, the northernmost campus is located in Newark, and the southernmost campus (and the one closest to Philadelphia) is located in Camden. If you're interested in the Camden campus, they have tours scheduled for July 31st, Aug 8th, and Aug 14th. But you need to make an appointment for the tour in advance. Get more info here: http://admissions.rutgers.edu/110101A.asp?c=c If you're interested in the Newark campus, they have tours scheduled for Aug 4th, 8th, 18th, and 22nd. Again, appointments are necessary (unless you go on a walking tour). Get more info here: http://admissions.rutgers.edu/110101A.asp?c=n If you're interested in the main New Brunswick campus, they too have walking tours that do not require appointments, but I would not suggest those as they do not provide an undergraduate information session or bus tour. However, you can check out some info on that here: http://admissions.rutgers.edu/11010501WT.asp. It would probably be better if you attended what they call a "Scarlet Day," which includes an information session hosted by an admissions counselor followed by a bus tour with a student guide tour. They have tours scheduled for July 30th and 31st as well as Aug 1-3, 6-10, 13-17, and the 20th. Check it out here: http://admissions.rutgers.edu/tours/110101A-nb.aspx. In case you were wondering, it's a bigger deal to go on a tour of the New Brunswick campus as opposed to the Camden and Newark campuses because the New Brunswick campus is much bigger in size, has more schools, and can require a bus ride between classes (depending on where your different classes are). But regardless of which campus you're interested in, you should deff sign up for a tour so you can get a good idea of what college life will be like for you. Good luck!!

i am going into my sophmore year at rutgers. i highly recommend you take a visit. I would start taking tours the year before you apply and then maybe go there again if you get accepted. I know they were showing people my form last year about halfway through second semester
