What is TCNJ like? (The College of New Jersey)

What is TCNJ like? (The College of New Jersey)?
What is it like there? Would you reccomend going there? How are the parties? Please if you know anything about this college, let me know. I'm mostly interested in what it's like, and what kind of people go there. also what are the dorms like, etc.

These are good questions. If you receive any answers that you like, you should try to visit and stay overnight on a weekend before you accept an offer of admission. These questions are best answered by personal observation. Some colleges have programs in which a prospective student can spend a night in a dorm.

For how long do I have to be married to a New Jersey resident to qualify for in-state tuition

For how long do I have to be married to a New Jersey resident to qualify for in-state tuition?
I'm planning to attend a college in New Jersey but I am from out-of-state and I don't want to have to pay the out-of-state tuition. I am currently reviewing all my options which include marriage to a New Jersey resident. My question is: do I have to be married to him for a certain amount of time before I qualify? If I annul the marriage immediately afterwards, will I still be eligible? And will this make me financially independent? Any downsides to that?

http://catalogs.rutgers.edu/generated/nb-grad_0507/pg24051.html The Effect of Marriage A nonresident student who marries a bona fide New Jersey domiciliary assumes the domicile of that spouse for tuition purposes in the term following marriage. The same test for residency will be applied to spouses when a marriage is claimed as the basis for domicile. No change in status will occur when a domiciliary student marries a nondomiciliary. http://admissions.rutgers.edu/Libraries/Downloads/residency_petition.sflb.ashx http://admissions.rutgers.edu/costs/tuitionandfees/njtuitioneligibility.aspx#1 Being married makes you an independent student for fin aid purposes, if you annul the marriage and you do not meet any of the other qualifications to be independent (you are not over 24, have kids you support, are not a veteran etc) then upon the annulment you will NOT be married any longer and your dependency status will switch back to "dependent" again and you will have to report your parents info again.

Which school has more prestige for academics: Rutgers U- New Brunswick, The College of New Jersey or Lehigh U

Which school has more prestige for academics: Rutgers U- New Brunswick, The College of New Jersey or Lehigh U?
The reason why I'm asking is because TCNJ's online College Board Profile has a lower acceptance rate, higher standardized testing scores, and higher overall GPA than Rutgers New Brunswick does. I got accepted into both...I'm trying to make a final decision. Do you have anymore advice for me (I'm going to major in business)? Also, I got waitlisted for Lehigh University's Business School. What are my chances in getting accepted into Lehigh because that is my top choice school. Thanks in advance!

Answer 1 :
Lehigh is the better school. If you get in -- go there. It is hard to compare the College of NJ with Rutgers -- because they are different kinds of schools. TCNJ is a good regional school while Rutgers is a major research institution with lots of PhD programs. For business, I would choose Rutgers over TCNJ. As for Lehigh -- this is a tough year for getting into colleges. The top schools turned down many more students than usual. This means that the schools that are just below the very top schools (like Lehigh) have a better crop of student to choose from. You should let them know that you would love to go there and hope for the best. Good luck.
Answer 2 :
Lehigh is the most competetive, but take the place with the best financial aid package. you can always supplement your education with internships and the like. no sense in getting into debt.
