Hi Osadebe You can compare your credentials to the most recent admitted class at Rutgers [three campuses - I am using New Brunswick] here: http://collegesearch.collegeboard.com/academictracker/servlet/ACTServlet?pg=2&collegeId=1638 It is not a lock by any means, but you definitely are in the lower part of the admission zone. For The College of New Jersey [in Ewing], look here: http://collegesearch.collegeboard.com/academictracker/servlet/ACTServlet?pg=2&collegeId=909 That doesn't look as favorable. Here is a reality-check for you - if you are in classes with a bunch of academic overachievers, you may be setting yourself up for failure. You are much better off in a school that easily admits you and where you have a chance of excelling. I found 11 public 4-year schools in NJ that you ought to consider - Rutgers-Camden and Rutgers-Newark are 2 of them. I put the URL for a college matchmaker service below - look at: 4-year public, New Jersey, pick your proposed major, and enter your SAT CR and M scores and see which schools come up. Apply to at least three of them. good luck to you
Answer 2 :
TCNJ makes it seem much more difficult to get into than it is. They claim that the majority of their students have like 2000s, but this is not true. I know someone who had horrendous SATs and got in. Although if you don't want a headache from bureauocratic administration, your probably better off avoiding the school altogether. I do, however, appreciate their academics very much. Good education.

Is there any help for college students to get a cheap apartment in new jersey?
My boyfriend have been together for 4 years and are looking for an apartment. We are 2 college students at a community college and have an income combined at like $1400 a month. Utilities included maybe or not is fine. Thanks.

Answer 1 :
See if your CC has some sort of a housing referral service available.
Answer 2 :
Most, if not all, colleges and universities have a housing department to help students find housing, and you should let them help you, because they often get good deals that you wouldn't otherwise hear about. Good luck!... ☺
Answer 3 :
Making $1400 between the two of you limits you to a monthly rent of $400 per month. http://www.campusrent.com/new_jersey_apartments.cfm
